Ephesians 1:1-10
Psalm 98
Luke 11:47-54
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. Ephesians 1:3
Lord, we have access to any material goods in the world through the internet. With a few mouse clicks we can purchase everything from a pair of shoes to a yacht. When you became one of us and gave up your life on the cross you purchased for us “every spiritual blessing in the heavens”. We have access to everything we need for our salvation because of you. We lack nothing! It’s as if the heavenly internet is at our fingertips. And here’s the deal: we can’t buy any of it. No money needed. The grace to live a life in union with you is free for the asking. Forgiveness of sins doesn’t cost anything but a surrender of our hearts. Lord, I’m so grateful for your inspiring word, the sacraments and great traditions of your Church. I am so blessed because I can experience heaven on earth at Mass and receive you, my Savior, in Holy Communion. Today, Lord, may I surf the spiritual internet in prayer and humble acceptance of your love and grace. St. Ignatius pray for us. Amen.
