Psalm 106
John 5:31-47
“…these works that I perform testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me.” John 5:36
Lord, who you were, where you were from, and your purpose were great mysteries to many people of your time. Sadly, so many didn’t believe the prophets and the scriptures which spoke about you. Your own words and miracles led only some to believe in you. I think the biggest obstacle they had was the hardness of their hearts. It’s likely to be the same problem today. Lord, I embrace and surrender to your sovereignty over me. I believe you and my Father are one and that all your words are true. Lead me by your Spirit to a transformed heart. A heart which desires nothing but to be your faithful child. A heart that is open to your grace. A heart that is like your heart. Help me Lord to know, love and serve you in whatever ways you desire. May I follow your will in whatever happens to me today. Amen.
