Psalm 139
Luke 17:1-6
O Lord, you have probed me and you know me; you know when I sit and when I stand; Ps 139:1
“Increase our faith.” Luke 17:5
Lord, no one knows me better than you do. You know me even better than know myself. You see all my flaws and read all my thoughts. When I put on a good face towards other people but harbor resentment in my heart you know it. There is nothing I can think, say or do that you are not aware of. Yet, you became human and gave your life for me. You have forgiven all my sins and removed all my guilt. I have been invited to the eternal banquet in heaven. Every good thing in my life comes from you. You have protected me from the evil one and have guided my decisions and blessed my judgments. Lord, increase my faith in you and your plan for me. Help me to see myself as you do. Jesus, hold me tight wherever I go today. Keep me safe from anything that can lead me away from you. Amen
