The number of disciples continued to grow,… Acts 6:1
Lord, you promised to be with your church until the end of time. Nothing can stop its spreading to the ends of the earth. Your word tells us that even hard-hearted Jewish priests became disciples of yours. Some may have even screamed for your death before they were touched by your powerful grace. Lord, we all have family members that do not know you. They are not aware of your unconditional love or they may have experienced harm from members of your church. Please Lord, I ask that our loved ones be brought close to you. I beg you to use me or someone else to witness to them the joy and peace of following you. Don’t let me get discouraged when it seems my efforts fail. I know you are constantly at work in their lives. Cover them with your love Lord. I am ready to be your instrument. Show me the way.
