2 Samuel 7:18-19, 24-29
Psalm 132
Mark 4:21-25
“Who am I Lord God…that you have brought me to this point?” 2 Sam 7:18
Lord, I ask you what King David asked you so long ago. Who or what am I in your sight? You have done so much for me in my life. Each day has been your gift to me. You have sustained me all these years. Every promise you have fulfilled, even those that are yet to be completed. I’ve made a ton of mistakes, some over and over again. Yet you’ve hung in there with me and continue to show yourself to me. You continue to form me like a potter forms his clay. Lord, your generosity is truly overwhelming, and I am deeply in your debt. Today is another day. Reveal new wonders about yourself to me. Help me to grow in faithfulness. Strengthen me to be the light you’ve called me to be. My heart is open to whatever you want to place within it. The best is yet to come. Amen.
