Lord, you have given me another year of life. Thank you. So much has happened in my life in the last 12 months. I suppose the people I encountered, the experiences I had, and other realities have shaped and influenced me. I’m a year older. I have changed. Whether I was aware or not you have been with me every minute of every day. Your creative power has formed me out of the elements forged in the center of stars. Your word has inspired me, and your grace has empowered me in every area of my life. Your countless blessings have fallen on me like rain from above. I have said yes to you and, unfortunately, have said no to you also. Please forgive me my sins and help me not to repeat them. I’m so blessed with the family you’ve placed around me. Lord, on this last day of 2022 please hear my heart-felt prayer of gratitude for being so good to me and for walking with me throughout this year. I look forward to how you will form me in 2023.  Amen.
