“…thy kingdom come.”  Luke 11:2

Lord, this world has a long way to go before your kingdom is fully here. So much needs to change, so many people need to repent.  How about me, Lord?  Am I ready to turn my heart fully to you? Am I willing to let go of all that blocks your kingdom to fill me up?  Can I become the fully human person you created me to be? St. Paul pointed out the hypocrisy of some who weren’t following the Gospel of your Kingdom. I repent of the times I haven’t acted like a true disciple. I still sometimes choose my ways over yours. Lord, you know me better than I know myself. When I pray for your will to be done and your kingdom to grow to the full, make the changes in me that need to be—whether I like it or not. Open my heart to your grace so I will see you in all others. Help me to see the potential in those whose faults I expose. May your kingdom start with me even when I want to start with someone else.  Amen.
