…the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit…
Romans 5:5
Lord, it’s not possible for my small mind to fully understand you. You have always been and always will be. You created this unbelievable universe filled with mystery. You chose a people as your special family to prepare for your coming as a human being just like us. You gave your life for us and showed us the rising to new life we will one day experience. Your Spirit of truth and wisdom and love lives inside us as your constant presence. O my Lord, how faithful you are to me despite my sins and weaknesses. You delight in me and look upon me as your awesome and precious child. How must I live in response to the love, grace and peace poured into my heart by a God so magnificent? I stand in awe before you, unable to speak. I can’t put into words what you are to me. I place my life in your hands today, Lord. There’s no place I’d rather be because in your hands is a place of hope and light in the despair and darkness of our world. Amen.
