Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Lord, as a child I was so blest to have loving and caring parents. I trusted them to care for all my needs. They always came through and never let me down. Lord, they were like you in that way. Because you care so much for me I can trust that you will be near on the day I call. It can be such a relief to give up to you all my worries and fears. It is a sign of faith and trust to turn to you in my needs. It’s also a great relief to let go of anxiety and anything that robs me of peace. You are my strength and nothing that I encounter today is too big for you. Lord, I trust in your power and wisdom. Keep me and my family safe today from all evil. Help me to be humble in my relationships. I cast all my worries upon you for you are bigger than anything I will ever encounter. I look for your presence in all that I will experience today. Thank you, Lord, for being so near. Amen.
