Please take advantage of this opportunity to come closer to Jesus. Just being in his presence is a great blessing. It is a very peaceful time to let Our Lord speak to our hearts and to pour out our hearts to Him. Pope Saint John Paul II wrote, “The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease.” Why spend time with the Blessed Sacrament? When we contemplate Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament we are given the opportunity to thank him for his love. Christ draws near to us, more intimate with us than we are with ourselves. He strengthens the divine life in us and gives us access to the Father.

Adoration will begin starting on Tuesday, February 20th each morning after the 8:30 Mass when the Blessed Sacrament will be presented for adoration and prayer. Each day at noon we will pray the Rosary, and each day at 3:00 PM we shall pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Benediction and repose will happen at 7:00 PM each night, with the final Benediction being offered on February 23rd as we complete our 40 hours. There will be a Healing Service with anointing on that final Benediction.
