Here is an excerpt from her blog: “Fr Sheedy from Ocala has been working tirelessly for 13 years building churches and 2 room schools in 30 villages in this district. He built the main facility I am staying at which includes a boarding school for over 700 students, dorms, adoration chapel, etc… Some of the 30 parish churches he built were donations from single individuals. They can build a church or school for about 5-20k depending on the size. They go every year to see where the $ went and receive requests for support for the following year. The community is expected to put in hours of labor after supplies are purchased or Fr Sheedy cuts the next year!” Let’s keep Mrs. PIckles in our prayers for her mission work this summer! Whats New for Next Year? Our own Fr. Blake will be teaching a Catholic Philosophy and Humanities Religion course once a week to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders!
