School Closure due to Hurricane Dorian

Due to the progress of Hurricane Dorian, St. Mary School will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will assess any damage to the school and conditions on the roads and surrounding areas before we decide to reopen on Thursday or Friday. We continue to pray for the safety of our school families and others affected by Hurricane Dorian. Please be safe and stay tuned!

Garden Club for 19-20

Good afternoon! Our MS science teacher, Mrs. Alexis, and Mrs. Denise Stacey (mom of Amelie) will oversee a middle school Garden Club in 19-20. They will be planting flowers and taking care of them while learning about how things grow. At some point, the potted plants will be available for sale. They are asking that families clean and rinse any 2-liter soda bottles to recycle for pots. They also could use some bags of potting soil. If you can help donate these items to help our future gardeners get started, thank you! You can drop items off in the school office.

He built the main facility I am staying at which includes a boarding school for over 700 students, dorms, adoration chapel, etc… Some of the 30 parish churches he built were donations from single individuals. They can build a church or school for about 5-20k depending on the size. They go every year to see where the $ went and receive requests for support for the following year. The community is expected to put in hours of labor after supplies are purchased or Fr Sheedy cuts them.off the next year!” Let’s keep Mrs. PIckles in our prayers for her mission work this summer!
