1 Corinthians 15:1-11

Psalm 118

Luke 7:36-50

…what I am now, I am through the grace of God… 1 Cor. 15:10

“your faith has saved you; go in peace.”  Lk. 7:50

Lord, like flowing water that can change rock, like the potter that molds the clay, your grace has been working on me since day one.  You have a dream for me and your have patiently been shaping me into that dream. Oh I have resisted and I’ve tried to go in the other direction but each time you pull me back. You use other people, situations and even physical limitations to channel me into the person you want me to be. Despite my foot-dragging, Lord, you have never given up on me–thank you for that. I pray today that you will forgive me for my past stubbornness and sin and I pray that today I will cooperate with the graces of this day. Lord, I love you for your attention and wonderful grace may it never stop working on me.  You forgave the woman who showed her great love.  You also forgave Paul his sins of persecution. They both were saved by your grace.  May I also be given a second chance and a new start every day to become who you created me to be.  Amen.
