1 Corinthians 12:31—13:13

Psalm 33

Luke 7:31-35

If I am without love, I am nothing.  1 Cor. 13:2

Lord, you call us to relationship; first with you then with our brothers and sisters. My relationship with them is to be a reflection of my love for you.  By loving others, I love you. The visible sign of my love for you dear Lord is how I am united with the people you placed me with: family, friends, associates and all with whom I contact. Plus many others who impact my life. Yes, even those who are enemies. How hard it can be Lord to love all these people, yet you do it. You died for them all. Lord, my prayer is for your grace to guide me to love as you do—without boundaries or conditions–no excuses love the sinners around me as you do. Help me to do that today one person at a time. Thank you God for this greatest of all gifts. I thank you for the commandment to love even when that love is not returned. I ask for loving without counting the cost. Take away any jealousy, impatience, wrongdoing and lies you find in,my heart. Help me to love unconditionally and without limitations.  St. Cornelius and St. Cyprian pray for me.  Amen.
